Electronic calipers with an LCD display which will display in either ’metric/imperial (switchable)’ or ’metric only’ reading depending on model.

Electronic Features:

ON/OFF - Switches unit on, display indicates distance of jaws from pre-set origin point
ABS - Absolute feature re-sets the ’reference’ point of measurement of the instrument jaws
in./mm - Selects imperial or metric display
Origin - Pre-sets the zero point of the instrument. This point is memorised even if the unit is switched off Note Imperial/metric versions have thumbwheel where metric does not.

Mitutoyo Digital Precision Caliper

The Mitutoyo 0 to 150mm range digital precision calliper is a highly accurate measuring instrument. It is enabled with a new age electromagnetic inductive sensor that repels dirt, oil, and water ensuring maximum accuracy. It has a function that starts the absolute-mode measurement without any zero-setting after it is switched on. The INC (incremental) measurement function enables the display value to be set to zero, temporarily, at the current slider position to enable easy incremental-mode measurement. The original position of the calliper can be set, or reset, with the ’origin' switch at any time. It has advanced functions like low battery alarm indication and carbide-tipped jaw that makes it ideal for various applications like measurement of rough-machined workpieces, castings, and grindstones.
