Low power consumption components designed to hold a device in a specific position and to free this device using a simple electrical signal.
Operation:
- holding: the metal object is held in place on contact with the electromagnet, which is fitted on a fixed element.
- release: ''no voltage'' models - the metal object is freed from the electromagnet contact when the power supply is cut
''current emission'' models - the metal object is freed from the electromagnet contact when the power is on
Applications: industrial automation and fire safety (locking fire doors, opening smoke extraction dampers, closing ventilation flaps or dampers, etc.)
